Well, the elephant is quite rare type of transport in modern India. It took me more than 4 days to catch one on Mumbai streets.
I guess it's not exact food, - it could be classified as relict chewing gum (the most spicy version) made of local vegetation just on the spot.
The picture was taken on the middle of crowded street full of tourists...
Just belive me - the same "monuments of installation glory" could be found in modern Russia too.
At "Sahara" station of "Indian Oil" we found such "good luck" amulets on fuel nozzles. The same amulet (exact like jewish "mezuza") could be found on station's doorpost.
Can you believe that in this building live only one family - 4 persons (not counting 56 servants)? Important note - the building erected in very prestigious area of Mumbai facing to the ocean. This family earns their profit from real estate...
